Course for those who have more than an elementary knowledge of English, based on a book for adult learners of the language. This year we are going to practise using vocabulary and expressions for social situations (Have a good weekend!), talking about money (How much is a litre of petrol?, What’s the exchange rate?), shopping, talking about feelings (We’re really happy!), and booking a room. We are also going to practise using present tenses, past tenses, quantity words (a lot, many, much, some, any, etc.), articles, and various future forms. There will be a current news article to discuss at the beginning of every lesson. The main aim of the course is to develop speaking and listening.
